Shirley and Morris Shratter have produced and hosted their program "More Than Just Learning" for the past 20 years. Their objective has always been to show how important education is in the life of every person and how it should be pursued throughout your life. "More Than Just Learning" has received 3 awards: Jefferson, Outstanding Citizens by the Post Gazette, and a proclamation from Mayor Tom Murphy.

Shirley and Morris Shratter were educators for the Pittsburgh School System for 30 years. During that time, Shirley was nominated for Pittsburgh Teacher of the Year.

Morris Shratter was the winner of the 200m Breastroke, in his respective category, during the 2005 Senior Olympics.
